ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Satish Vyas is one of India's foremost performers of
the santoor, the 100-stringed horizontal harp
instrument used in Indian folk, classical and film
music today. He hails from Mumbai, and is a disciple
of the legendary pioneer of santoor, Pandit Shivkumar
Sharma.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Vineet Vyas is a dynamic
talent on the Canadian music scene. Having studied
with the world's senior-most tabla exponent, Pandit
Kishan Maharaj, Vineet has accompanied many of India's
foremost classical musicians, and has appeared at the
East Coast Music Awards.
