Books 2, 3, & 4
For Book 2 students, the instrumental group class length increases to 45 minutes. In addition to playing together and learning through games, now the technical points are discussed and demonstrated, and beautiful phrasing and musical sensitivity is emphasized. Students are also given the opportunity to play solos for their peers! Book 2 students will continue through the Musicianship curriculum.

As students work through Book 3 and Book 4 in private lessons and group classes, they'll be on track to complete Musicianship Green, our highest level of musicianship classes. All students are strongly encouraged to enroll in Reading Orchestra following the successful completion of Musicianship Green. Once in Book 4, the teacher may occasionally introduce an 'extra' non-Suzuki piece as a class project.
In addition to the Core Group Classes, we recommend students enrolled in Book 2 also participate in Beginner Fiddle, STEP Fiddlers, and/or the Newfoundland and Labrador Suzuki Institute. For students in Books 3 and 4, we recommend participation in Intermediate Fiddle, Reading Orchestra, STEP Fiddlers, and/or the Newfoundland and Labrador Suzuki Institute.
